UX

I think websites should explain less.

By Ibukun Adeyemi · 1 min read

Here's why:

Too many words make users pause, scroll, or click away. Some people love to read every word on a website. A large percentage, including me, don't. We read the headings, the pricing, or whatever is most useful to us.

The best interfaces guide without over-explaining, letting actions, visuals and subtle cues do the talking.

When you filter out the noise, what's left is clarity. Your users understand faster, trust more, and engage more.
